A sample bus made by Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd arrived in Israeli port of Eilat on January 30, 2011. This is the first Chinese bus product entering the Israeli market, which is also the third Chinese auto brand in Israel.

The first China-made bus launched in Israel

The sample bus has been inspected by Israel Ministry of Transport and issued the market entry certification. It is learned, in 2012, more buses of this kind are expected to enter the Israeli market for sale. Israel is a developed country and its auto industry applies Euro V emission standard. The launch of Chinese auto brands in Israel marks the increasing competitiveness of Chinese auto industry in the international arena.    

It is learned Israeli Transport Minister of Israel, Israeli ambassador to China and Eilat Mayor were present at the bus launch ceremony.
