The UITP Training Programme & Study Tour on Electric Buses was held in Yutong on November 2-5, 2018. More than 50 people including internationally renowned bus technology experts, government representatives and public transport operators from 15 countries and regions such as USA, Germany, France and UK attended this activity.

UITP, the International Association of Public Transport (from the French: L’Union internationale des transports publics) is a non-profit advocacy organization for public transport authorities and operators, policy decision-makers, scientific institutes and the public transport supply and service industry. UITP supports a holistic approach to urban mobility and advocates for public transport development and sustainable mobility.

UITP has been promoting the important events in the field of public transportation on a global scale all the time, and has gradually developed into an important platform for international cooperation and information sharing. Yutong, as one of the earliest member of UITP in China, has been actively participating in the UITP’s related activities and sharing its successful experience in the R&D of buses and other fields with other members.

During the training and study tour, these experts and delegates visited the Yutong New Energy Plant and the National Engineering Technology Research Center for Electric Bus Control and Safety, and personally experience the Yutong autonomous bus. In addition, they also went to the Zhengzhou Public Transport Company and took a close look at the intelligent command center that stays in a leading position in China.

Yutong's first-class product quality, rich development experience, powerful technical strength, advanced productionprocess and large enterprise scale have left a deep impression on the delegates.

This activity will further enhance the international influence of Yutong brand and convey the positive energy of Chinese brands to the world. Meanwhile, it will also play an active role in promoting the development of global public transportation.
