Yutong buses spotted amid chaos in Cote d'ivoire
The deteriorating security situation and the escalation in the use of heavy weapons have caused heavy casualties in Côte d'Ivoire and many civilian were driven from their homes in Côte d'Ivoire in the months-long turmoil stemming from the outgoing president's refusal to leave office. According to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), more than 1,000,000 Ivorian people are fleeing to the neighboring countries.
The following picture shows the Ivorian people wanted to leave for other countries were waiting for buses at the bus station in Abidjan, economic capital of Côte d'Ivoire, on March 23, 2011. Among the fleeing Ivorian people, Yutong buses were spotted and helped to transport the Ivorians to safety areas.
