Minister of Transport inspects Yutong
Li Shenglin, Minister of Transport, inspected Yutong on February 15 and was warmly welcome by Tang Yuxiang, President of Yutong Group.
Accompanied by Tang, Li boarded the command vehicle for disaster relief which was jointly developed by Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport and Yutong, and carefully took a close look at the configuration and functions of the vehicle. The successful development of the command vehicle for disaster relief provides a quick-decision command platform for handling natural disaster relief and emergency events, marking a new era of the vehicle manufacturing technology for disaster relief.
After that, Li and his entourage stepped into Yutong experiment center to learn about the R&D situation of the company. The minister spoke highly of the technical strength of Yutong. “It is necessary to build an experiment center. It meets the technology developing demand on bus industry and supports the sustainable development of the company,” said Li.
Niu Bo, general manager, and Wang Wenbin, vice general manager of Yutong company, accompanied the inspection as well.
