The delegation of China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation (CATIC) headed by Ma Zhiping, president of CATIC, inspected Yutong on April 1, 2014.

Ma and his delegation firstly watched the corporate video and then inspected the electrocoating workshop, chassis workshop, final assembly workshop and experiment center. During the visit, Ma asked about the manufacturing process, production capacity, R&D of products, technical innovation and construction situation of the new plant. At the final assembly workshop, a coach to be exported to British Chelsea Football Club attracted the attention of Ma. He boarded the bus and personally experienced the ride comfort. Meanwhile, Ma praised that Yutong products have entered the market of developed European and American countries.  

After the visit, Tang Yuxiang, president of Yutong Group, had a discussion with the delegation. Tang firstly extended a warm welcome to the guests and thanked them for their help and support in Yutong’s market development over the years. After that, Tang asked about CATIC’s current development situation and its business direction in the future. During the discussion, both parties reviewed the history and spoke highly of the good relationship and sincere friendship of both sides since the cooperation. They expressed that they would continue to expand the exchange field and achieve a win-win situation. After the discussion, Tang presented a model school bus and a model city bus to Ma as souvenirs.
