As a city of innovation and vitality, Hangzhou also needs to upgrade its public transport system with cutting-edge products. In particular, the Asian Games 2022 will be held in Hangzhou, which also impose higher requirements for city buses.

Besides the striking appearance, the intelligent and user-friendly design of Yutong buses has also been highly praised by Hangzhou citizens.

Taking U12 as an example, it is equipped with eight self-developed safe driving assistance functions, such as 360°panoramic view, collision mitigation control system, driving behavior monitoring and so on, comprehensively improving the safety and ride comfort of the vehicle. At the same time, U12 is provided with 16 ultrasonic radars, which can prejudge the driving situation, and intelligently conduct active control on the vehicle in case of emergency to reduce the occurrence of safety accidents.

Apart from that, the vehicle can also analyze the driver's behavior through face recognition. The low-floor design facilitates the boarding and alighting of passengers, and the ramp at the middle door for wheelchair users is also welcome by the citizens.

As a leading company in China's bus industry, Yutong has developed a complete series of new energy buses ranging from 6 meters to 18 meters. It not only independently developed three generations of vehicle control technology, which has reached internationally advanced level, but also stayed at the forefront of the industry in terms electric drive control, onboard energy management and vehicle lightweight technology.

In addition to the two high-end intelligent city buses with new styling, Yutong's 12-meter medium-capacity city bus E12 is also a highlight. A batch of E12 were put into operation on Route 71 in Shanghai in January 2017. Based on the application of the intelligent V2X collaboration technology, the interval between two bus runs has been shortened while the bus speed has improved by 50%. Thanks to the large passenger capacity, these vehicles effectively relieved the congestion problem on Route 71 in the rush hours, facilitated the mobility of citizens, and provided a template for the overall solution to urban transport.
