Yutong Rolls Out “Golden Ticket” Initiative in Pakistan
Recently Yutong has partnered with the Pakistan Down Syndrome Association (PDSA) to launch the Golden Ticket Initiative in Bahria Town, Karachi, providing free specialized transportation and zoo excursions for children with Down syndrome. This program underscores Yutong’s commitment to inclusive mobility and sustainable community development in Pakistan.
Inclusive Mobility, Creating Smiles
Since entering the Pakistani market in 2008, Yutong has delivered over 2,800 buses, becoming the top-selling Chinese bus brand in the country. Yutong’s success is rooted in Pakistan’s trust. The Golden Ticket Initiative embodies its philosophy of “Better Bus, Better Life”, demonstrating how innovative transportation solutions can drive social progress.
During the excursion, Yutong’s flagship ZK6138HP (C13Pro), equipped with ergonomic seats, advanced AC and enhanced safety features, transported over 50 children, their parents and PDSA specialists to the zoo. Each bus was transformed into a mobile playground with colorful balloons and cheerful artwork. PDSA specialists also conducted interactive activities, combining educational engagement with entertainment through music and dance performances.
“This journey was not just about the destination; it was about the experience. These buses weren’t just a mode of transport; they were a gateway to happiness, carrying dreams, laughter, and the unbreakable bond of love.” said Mr. Zhang Peng, Managing director of Yutong Pakistan.
Building a Sustainable Future
Yutong is transforming vehicles into bridges that foster community connections, create joyful commuting experiences, and promote inclusive development across Pakistan. The Golden Ticket Initiative is not just a one-time action for Yutong to promote a better society. In the upcoming year, Yutong will work with more organizations to expand its efforts in creating an accessible, inclusive and sustainable environment for all.
