Azerbaijan President Witnesses Delivery of 235 Yutong Buses to Ganja
Recently, 235 units of high-standard city buses delivered by Yutong to Ganja, the second-largest city in Azerbaijan, were officially put into operation. The delivery was highlighted by a ceremony attended and witnessed by President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, at a local bus depot. This is not only vital for Ganja's transport modernization, but also a tangible action by Yutong to support Azerbaijan's urban mobility.
The 235 buses delivered by Yutong, comprising various models and all meeting Euro VI standards, will serve 20 routes to further optimize Ganja's public transport network and enhance daily travel experience for citizens. All buses support the cashless payment system, allowing passengers to pay fares conveniently via bank cards or mobile devices, and enjoying smarter and more efficient travel.
President Ilham Aliyev spoke highly of the project during the ceremony, emphasizing its critical role in enhancing public transport services and daily travel quality for citizens.
Concurrently, Ganja is implementing a comprehensive upgrade of its transport infrastructure, like optimizing bus routes, building new bus shelter and developing transport hubs, to ensure efficient connectivity between bus and rail services, creating a more modern urban mobility system.
