Yutong has successfully wrapped up its “School Bus Safety Tour” across Kazakhstan, after engaging schools in Astana, Shymkent, and Almaty. Launched in mid-October, the campaign partnered with educators, transport agencies, and community stakeholders to raise awareness of children’s travel safety, earning praise from the public.

A “Safety Relay” across Three Cities

The final event in Almaty drew crowds with hands-on activities like the “Traffic Sign Quiz,” “Safe Ride Experience,” and “Blind Zone Hunt,” where children learned to navigate real-world scenarios while mastering safety fundamentals. Local officials and educators also joined the event.

“Traffic safety education for children is of great importance,” said Shalbaeva Aigul Duisenovna , Member of the Almaty City Council, “Programs like this turn safety lessons into fun, memorable experiences—exactly how young minds learn best.”

Zhylkishina Zhanna Kadylkhanovna, Head of the Education Department of the Turksib District of Almaty, added: “We take student safety very seriously. School No. 31 in Almaty currently operates four Yutong school buses — safe, comfortable, and reliable vehicles that make students’ daily commutes much easier.”

Building a Culture of Safety

School buses are more than vehicles. They carry family trust and social responsibility. For years, Yutong has been organizing its School Bus Safety Tour around the world, combining interactive education with real-world experiences to integrate road safety into classrooms worldwide. The campaign highlights the urgent need for collective action on child traffic safety.
