Recently, Yutong company is identified as Key High-tech Enterprise of 2010 National Torch Program publicized by Minister of Science and Technology. For Yutong, this is also the first time to be identified as state key high-tech enterprise.

Totally 3,027 enterprises from 34 regions nationwide applied for this identification. After the judgment and review by experts, 772 enterprises are selected as Key High-tech Enterprise of 2010 National Torch Program.

The key judgment indexes of this year focus on four respects, namely innovation capability, industry promoting strength, profitability and social contribution. The innovation capability is especially emphasized. In order to ensure the scientificity and rationality of the judgment system, the scores of indexes are quantified in terms of different levels, aiming to choose out the enterprises which truly lead the development of high-tech industry.

It is learned that Yutong’s Research Center of Bus Engineering Technology was identified as Henan Outstanding Scientific and Technological Innovation Platform during the 11th Five-Year plan.
