DMT, or Dual-Motor Technology, is an advanced coaxial dual-motor hybrid system. This system intelligently coordinates the operation of the engine and electric motors, enabling both pure electric drive and efficient internal combustion engine operation. The three-electric system has strong waterproof capability, and the vehicle is safer. Yutong Coach’s critical components, such as supercapacitors, drive motors, and motor controllers, achieve IP68 and IP6K9K protection levels, reaching the international advanced level, and can still work normally after being sprayed by high-temperature and high-pressure water spray. This ensures the Yutong coaches perform reliably on flooded roads and in adverse weather conditions.

Furthermore, the dual-mode DMT hybrid system adopts a gearbox-less design with dual motors arranged coaxially to reduce mechanical failures and provide high reliability. The supercapacitor boasts over one million charge-discharge cycles, enabling frequent energy pulses without degradation while supporting rapid recharging.

Each 100-unit fleet of 12-meter hybrid buses can annually reduce PM emissions by 240 kilograms, NOx emissions by 12 tons, and CO2 emissions by over 2,000 tons—equivalent to planting approximately 15,000 trees.

· Mongolia: The DMT system demonstrated stable performance in low-temperature environments, reducing fuel consumption by 30% while enhancing operational stability, comfort, and safety.
