Yutong officially joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2018, striving to advance coordinated sustainable development in economic, environmental and social aspects. Meanwhile, we carry out a wide range of public welfare and traffic safety activities, encourage employees to engage in community building and volunteer services, and promote friendly exchanges and mutual progress with local communities.
In 2024, we launched the “Net-Zero Forest”, committing to “one bus sold, one tree planted.”For every new Yutong bus put into operation worldwide, a tree will be planted, creating a tangible link between commercial success and environmental protection, turning vehicle deliveries into reforestation efforts, building a sustainable value chain across the product lifecycle, and engaging customers, partners, and stakeholders in climate action.
On Earth Day 2025, Yutong launched the NET ZERO FOREST in Minqin, Gansu. Together with our partners, customers, and local organizations, we planted more than just trees — symbols of resilience, collaboration, and our shared commitment to fighting desertification. As part of our “One Bus, One Tree” initiative, every bus in operation now stands for a greener future.
Yutong, together with its UK distributor Pelican and reforestation partner Carma, has brought the Zero-Carbon Forest initiative to the UK. As part of a broader global effort, this tree-planting activity was carried out in the UK to support environmental restoration and sustainability. The Zero-Carbon Forest represents our commitment to the planet, combining clean technology with innovative solutions to drive industry transformation and long-term ecological impact.
Yutong hosted a tree-planting event at Quebrada de Macul Urban Park in Santiago, Chile, adding 1,000 native trees as part of ongoing efforts to restore local ecosystems. The initiative builds on Yutong’s 2024 planting of 700 trees in the area and supports its “Net Zero Forest” and “One Bus, One Tree” environmental programs aimed at improving vegetation in Santiago’s urban landscape.

The Green Mobility Week is a global public welfare initiative launched by Yutong. It aims to encourage the public to opt for green transportation and embrace a low-carbon lifestyle, while showcasing Yutong’s new energy technologies and sustainable development philosophy. Since 2024, the event has been held in Australia, Greece, Kazakhstan and other countries, serving as a key showcase for Yutong’s global ESG practices.
This public event is designed to engage citizens through interactive experiences and eco-friendly activities, guiding the community to embrace green mobility and practice low-carbon living. As the largest new energy bus supplier in Central Asia, Yutong is proud to support Almaty in advancing sustainable transport and intelligent mobility solutions.
“Let’s Go Green” campaign hit the streets of Athens and Thessaloniki, sparking momentum for a cleaner, smarter and more sustainable way to travel. Following its successful debut in Australia, the campaign now brings Greek communities together to embrace zero-emission public transport.
The purpose of this event is to enhance public awareness of green transportation options, such as electric vehicles, contribute to building a sustainable planet. It also intends to convey Yutong Bus’s philosophy, leveraging innovative technology to extend the benefits of green transit to everyone globally, to local stakeholders. Supported by the Brisbane City Council, the initiative inspired citizens to embrace eco-friendly travel options.
Yutong has carried out public welfare assistance and disaster relief activities across many countries. In response to flood disasters abroad, the company launched rescue and support work without delay. It also launched care programs for children with special needs. These heartfelt initiatives demonstrate the company’s sense of responsibility and humanistic care.
Yutong has partnered with the Pakistan Down Syndrome Association (PDSA) to launch the Golden Ticket Initiative in Bahria Town, Karachi, providing free specialized transportation and zoo excursions for children with Down syndrome. This program underscores Yutong’s commitment to inclusive mobility and sustainable community development in Pakistan.
When the flood raged in Kazakhstan, Yutong quickly organized a rescue team. To alleviate the pressure on disaster-affected areas, Yutong provided necessities for residents and key components for buses. Yutong donated basic living materials, including drinking water, instant noodles and biscuits to ensure that the bus operators could get through the difficulties. It also provided free component replacement services for the affected vehicles to ensure the smooth production resumption of customers’ vehicles after the disaster and support the rapid recovery of public transportation.
After the outbreak of floods in Pakistan, Yutong Bus donated disaster relief materials such as grain and oil, essential medicines and tents to the seriously affected victims in Sindh Province, to help solve the local urgent needs and start post-disaster reconstruction.
Yutong School Bus Public Welfare Tour is a long-term initiative jointly launched with One Foundation. Featuring blind spot experience, emergency evacuation drills and safety courses, the campaign disseminates knowledge on school bus and road safety to protect children on their trips.
Yutong has successfully wrapped up its “School Bus Safety Tour” across Kazakhstan, after engaging schools in Astana, Shymkent, and Almaty. Launched in mid-October, the campaign partnered with educators, transport agencies, and community stakeholders to raise awareness of children’s travel safety, earning praise from the public.
